On December 6, 2024, a meeting of the Board of the UkrNS was held. The meeting focused on summarizing the organization’s activities for 2024 and outlining the Society’s plans for the upcoming year.
The event was attended by members of environmental NGOs, environmental experts, scientists, lawyers, and representatives of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society.
The meeting included discussion of position papers, in particular on long-term operation of nuclear power plants and extension of their lifetime, as well as on the development of nuclear medicine.
On June 14, 2024, the founding meeting of members of the Public Organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” was held at the “Atomproektinzhiniring” Branch of NNEGC “Energoatom.”
The decision of the VI International Conference ‘Prospects for the Implementation of Innovations in Nuclear Energy’, adopted based on the results of the Plenary Session of the Conference.
The event facilitated a dialogue between representatives of the nuclear sector and specialized educational institutions.
Pylyp Kuznietsov’s candidacy was nominated by the Ukrainian Nuclear Society to represent both the NGO and Ukraine in this prestigious scientific body of the European nuclear community.
The conference “Nuclear Energy for People” took place from October 1 to 4, 2024 in Bulgaria
During the conference, presentations were made covering various aspects of nuclear energy and related technologies.
