New Separate Division of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society at the Atomproektinzhiniring Branch of NNEGC “Energoatom”

On June 14, 2024, the founding meeting of members of the Public Organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” was held at the “Atomproektinzhiniring” Branch of NNEGC “Energoatom.”

Five Society members participated in the meeting, where the decision was made to establish a separate division. The Chair of the division was elected as Tetiana Zakrevska, Head of the Licensing Department of the Design and Technical Management at “Atomproektinzhiniring.”

The Deputy Chair is Oleksandr Haran, Lead Engineer of the Licensing Department at the same division. The mission of “Atomproektinzhiniring” is to ensure engineering support for the design of new nuclear facilities, equipment development and supply, coordination of construction and commissioning works, and management of nuclear facility decommissioning.

Key objectives and areas of activity:

Construction of new nuclear facilities and implementation of investment projects in new construction; Design and development of new nuclear facilities; Execution of licensing procedures required by law for obtaining permits for construction and commissioning of nuclear facilities, considering environmental safety criteria; Participation in the development and support of strategic and long-term programs for the advancement of nuclear energy in Ukraine and in international cooperation.
