Innovation for Nuclear (I4N) Ukraine competition

The Ukrainian Nuclear Society invites students, young professionals, and researchers under the age of 35 to participate in the qualifying stage of the Innovation for Nuclear (I4N) Europe competition!

Goal of the competition – to inspire innovative ideas and solutions using nuclear technologies to address pressing societal challenges.

Who can participate?
Students, young professionals, and researchers under 35 years old.
Teams of up to 4 members.

How does the competition work?
Teams develop ideas on the theme: “Nuclear Technology- an Opportunity for Economic Development”
Projects should address current challenges in the nuclear industry and co ntribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Winners of the Ukrainian stage will represent their idea in June 2025 at the European finals in Zagreb, Croatia.
The best European team will advance to the global final in Paris, 2026.

How to join?
– Team registration is open until March 20, 2025:

– Include a presentation of your idea (5-10 slides) and optionally a short video (up to 3 minutes).

Competition Stages:
April 2025 – online presentation of ideas to the jury.
Evaluation of projects based on the following criteria: quality, innovation, applicability, feasibility, and contribution to sustainable development.
May 2025 – preparation of the winners for the European finals, including workshops and webinars with experts.
