NUCNEXT-2026: Prospects for Implementing Innovations in Nuclear Energy
The Ukrainian Nuclear Society, together with the Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Council of Young Scientists under the Department of Energy and Energy Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, invites you to participate in the 8th International Conference NUCNEXT-2026: “Prospects for Implementing Innovations in Nuclear Energy.”
Conference Objective
To engage professionals, researchers, representatives of institutions and enterprises, as well as members of the public, in a professional discussion on the current state, challenges and prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine, with a particular focus on the implementation of innovative solutions and advanced technologies.
Main Thematic Areas
- Trends in reactor technology development, innovative nuclear technologies, and prospects for their deployment
- Developments aimed at enhancing nuclear power plant safety and physical protection, as well as threats and challenges facing the nuclear industry during wartime
- Lifetime extension of operating nuclear power plants and construction of new nuclear power facilities
- Innovations in spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste management, as well as radioecology
