Representatives of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society and Rivne NPP took part in summer internship events for students of the Department of Physics and Technology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

July 15, 2024 at the invitation of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, as part of the summer internship events for senior students of the Department of Physics and Technology, a webinar was held on the topic “Personnel training for nuclear energy enterprises and working with personnel at the Rivne NPP” The speaker of the webinar was Sergei Vakulich, deputy head of the personnel department of the RNPP, as well as representatives of the secretariat of the NGO “UkrNS”.

The webinar listeners, students and teachers of the Department of Physics and Technology, in particular, the Departments of Reactor Materials and Physical tTechnologies, were familiarized with the current state of nuclear energy in Ukraine and the world, the prospects for the development of this industry, as well as the opportunities for building a career in this field.

In particular, the speech of the Rivne NPP representative was devoted to the issues of personnel training at the Rivne NPP, working conditions at the enterprise, cooperation of the Rivne NPP and NNEGC Energoatom with specialized institutions of higher education, career opportunities in the industry, etc.

As part of the information and educational activities, the Ukrainian Nuclear Society cooperates with leading institutions of higher education that train specialists for nuclear and related industries. In particular, if necessary, it helps to attract industry specialists to participate in the educational process of specialized higher education institutions, including V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
