August 24th marks the most significant day for our nation, a day when we reflect on the challenging journey Ukrainians have undertaken towards independence.

Today, we honor all those who have fought for Ukraine throughout the centuries and express our deepest gratitude to all Ukrainians who are defending our freedom now.

We bow low to our Defenders, who are on the front lines, protecting our land from the enemy. We pay great respect to all the fallen heroes, whose courage and self-sacrifice serve as an example to each of us.

In these challenging times, the entire country is united in a common struggle for peace and independence. Ukrainian nuclear workers are steadfastly holding their front, continuing to perform their crucial work and ensuring the energy security of Ukraine despite all difficulties. Thanks to your dedication, colleagues, our nation has a reliable source of energy, which is the foundation of stability and well-being for millions of Ukrainians.
