One of the priority goals is to promote gender equality. The presented document contains detailed information about the goals of UkrNS in this direction, defines a list of measures, distributes responsibilities and lists the necessary resources to improve gender equality in the Society and the nuclear industry of Ukraine as a whole. The approval of the Plan is planned at the next Board Meeting of the UkrNS.

The meeting participants also presented a number of proposals and ideas for intensifying the work of the women’s section, and also discussed initiatives for the nearest events of UkrNS both in separate subdivisions and for the women’s community of the Society as a whole. These include creative, volunteer and charity projects, conducting trainings and seminars for women, implementing mentoring programs during the introductory campaign for youth, participation of women in events of the general public, where they will more widely share their experience in nuclear and related fields, and others.
