Today is 37 years since the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plan

Today is 37 years since the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, which had large-scale consequences for people and nature.

Destroyed lives, lost health of people, the feat of thousands of liquidators and large radiation pollution are the consequences of the tragedy, which has become a valuable lesson for Ukraine and the world.

This day in 1986 forever changed the fate and approaches that are used today in Ukraine in any activity related to the nuclear industry. Preservation of human life and health, not causing harm to the environment has become the highest priority in the country’s nuclear energy and industry.

Honoring the memory of the fallen heroes-liquidators and supporting all those who are struggling with the consequences of this tragedy remain extremely important to this day.

A deep bow to all those who gave their lives and health to prevent even greater losses from this tragedy. Thanks to everyone who continues to fight its consequences, helps the victims and takes care of security in the country.

May our memory of those who died or suffered from the Chornobyl disaster be forever in our hearts.
