Today is the Day of Honoring the participants of the liquidation of the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine.

This is a time when we pay due respect to those who risked their own lives in the aftermath of a great global tragedy. The courage and self-sacrifice of thousands of liquidators remind us the importance of joint efforts to unconditionally maintain safety and prevent such disasters and accidents.

Let this Day always be a symbol of gratitude to the heroes of Chornobyl and the memory of those who gave their health and lives for the sake of the future.
