Radiation Safety Study Lab in Slavutych

We invite students, graduate students, young researchers, scientists and nuclear industry specialists to participate in the Radiation Safety Study Lab project.

Date and venue: 07-11 August 2023, Slavutych.

Objective of the project

Professional development and generation of new ideas on radiation safety. The training program includes a course of lectures, trainings and an exclusive workshop “Radiation Intelligence” by the nuclear industry experienced scientists and professionals.

Regional Development Agency of the Slavutych City Council; SSE “Chernobyl NPP”; Institute for Safety Problems of Nuclear Power Plants of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; the branch Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the city Slavutich, SS “Atomremontservice” SE “NNEGC “Energoatom”, Institute for Problems of Mathematical Machines and Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; NGO “Ukrainian Nuclear Society”, University of Bristol (Great Britain) and University of Berkeley (USA).

How to participate

To apply for participation, you must send a motivation letter to inudeco2018@gmail.com by August 01, 2023 with information about your personal interest in project and contact details of the participant (the letter should contain from 200 to 600 words).

All participants will receive a certificate of completion of project in the advanced training course “Dosimetry and protection from ionizing radiation” from the branch Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the city Slavutich.
