An agreement on expanding cooperation between Ukrainian Nuclear Society and Scientific and Technical Union of Energy Workers and Electrical Engineers of Ukraine was signed

On July 7, 2023, between the NGO “Ukrainian Nuclear Society” and the NGO “Scientific and Technical Union of Energy Workers” an agreement about expansion of cooperation was signed in order to promote the development of nuclear energy and industry of Ukraine, to further unconditional observance of high safety standards and safety culture in the design, construction and operation of nuclear facilities, as well as the development of the electric power complex, industry research and technology.

In particular, within the framework of the Agreement, the Ukrainian Nuclear Society and the Scientific and Technical Union of Energy Workers of Ukraine undertake to make joint efforts to develop energy for the sustainable development of Ukraine; to promote the development of science and technology, the exchange of technical information and expert opinions on projects for the development of the energy industry; to actively interact with state authorities and associations of citizens for the purpose of public and state support for projects for the development of the nuclear industry and other areas of energy, protection of the interests of enterprises in the energy industry and its employees; to make efforts to preserve and increase qualified personnel working at nuclear power plants and other energy facilities, in particular, work to increase the quantity and quality of students’ knowledge.

Also, the both parties will expand cooperation in the areas of exchange of professional experience, dissemination of information about the activities of both public organizations under this agreement, as well as involve other partners in cooperation under the Agreement.
