A new branch of the UkrNS has been established in Dnipro City

On August 18, 2025, the founding meeting of the members of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society (UkrNS) in Dnipropetrovsk region took place, during which a decision was made to establish a new Separate subdivision of the Society in the city of Dnipro.

The meeting was attended by eleven members of the Society, representatives of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (USUST). Associate Professor, PhD Vitalii Zahilskyi, was elected Head of the new branch in Dnipro, while Associate Professor, PhD Vladyslav Kovba, was elected Deputy Head.
The adopted decisions will be approved at the next meeting of the Board of UkrNS.

Particular attention is paid to the development of nuclear education, as well as energy and environmental safety.
