An interactive guide to nuclear energy for teachers “Navigating the Nuclear Industry”
Ukrainian Nuclear Society together with Energoatom present an interactive guide to nuclear energy for teachers. This educational tool is designed to assist teachers in preparing introductory lessons on nuclear energy and to help students better understand how the nuclear industry operates.
The guide explains the basics of nuclear energy in simple language, without complex formulas or terminology. It is more than just a learning resource – it is a tool that dispels myths about nuclear energy and builds trust in science. It provides answers to key questions such as:
- How does a nuclear power plant work?
- Why is nuclear energy considered environmentally friendly?
- Is it really safe?
Answers to these and many other questions are now available to Ukrainian schoolchildren through a new digital lesson on nuclear energy.
