UkrNS presents a new article as part of the “Interesting about Nuclear Science” project.

Publication “Study of the processes of formation of dispersive particles during water treatment by liming and stabilization treatment of water.”

The article was prepared by Pavlo Kuznetsov, chief specialist of the department of the chief technologist of the Rivne NPP, postgraduate student of the National University of Water Resources and Industry.

The article talks about the importance of water quality for the efficient operation of nuclear power plants, in particular in the cooling system; about why the use of liming and stabilization treatments for water purification is key to reducing scale formation and optimizing water treatment processes, as well as research carried out at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, highlighting the importance of these methods to ensure the reliable operation of power plants.
