Dear colleagues and partners!
We invite you to participate in the 5th International Conference on Nuclear Decommissioning and Environmental Recovery INUDECO 20, to be held on April 26–29, 2020 in Slavutych (Ukraine) as part of the events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Chornobyl NPP accident.
The conference is held to address problems and perspectives, increase the efficiency level of scientific and practical research, and establish cooperation and exchange of experience on the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and environmental restoration.
Representatives of the public and private sectors, non-governmental and scientific organizations will have the opportunity to participate in open discussions on the following topics:
- Chornobyl NPP and Object Shelter (radioactive waste and spent fuel management, implementation of the project on Object Shelter transformation into an environmentally safe system).
- Nuclear Power and New Energy (NPP maintenance and repair, NPP decommissioning, information technology for critical infrastructure).
- From Catastrophe to the New Life (rehabilitation, reintegration of territories and social adaptation of the public, use of alternative and renewable energy sources).
The conference will also hold the 4th Hackathon “The City of New Ideas” on April 26-28 2020. Registrations for the hackathon will be open till April 10, 2020 in the form https://forms.gle/PpwGRQsV1FuNkYXDA as well as a technical tour to Chornobyl NPP site on April 27, 2020.
Languages of the conference: Ukrainian, English. The registration fee makes UAH 400 per person, and holding poster sessions or presentations (advertisements) – UAH 1500 per institution.
All logistic information, a free transfer by route Slavutych – Kyiv – Slavutych, and a cultural and tourist program is provided by the Steering Committee. Hosts of the conference do not cover living and food costs of the participants. The number of Conference participants is limited.
